Couple Questions: #1

Do you think you would prefer a calm, loving, consistent marriage or one that was full of excitement, wild times and rocky patches?

This question can tell you if you're headed for a life full of complaints along these lines: "We never do anything." or "I just need to stay in once in a while."

Couple Questions: #2

What makes you feel secure and safe?

This question can help you understand each other. Some people feel safer nestled in a house in the woods. Others feel more vulnerable in that situation, and find safety in crowds.

Couple Questions: #3

Which do you think should have the final say in decisions - logic or emotions? Why?

Of course this question assumes a (perhaps false) dichotomy between the two. But we all know what this question is getting at. Is "feeling like you have a justified position" most important to you? Do you have to have a good argument for your position that anyone in their right mind would accept? Or are other feelings, such as security or compassion more motivating to you?
