Organized Registry Privacy Policy

Organized Registry collects some private information from its users when they open an account. Only the person's first and last name are required. But users may also provide Organized Registry with an email address, if they wish. The user is also free to communicate any information they want to communicate in their "instructions" field. This information is not shared with any other company or organization. At the current time, we have no interest in sharing any of our users private information with other groups. Should this change in the future we will contact individuals for prior approval before their information is shared.

Organized Registry fully supports COPPA, which limits the collecting of personal data for anyone under the age of 13. In order to protect the privacy of younger users, we require parental approval before collecting any information for users under the age of 13. We also require password protection on all accounts for users under the age of 18.

We will take whatever measures we deem necessary to protect and ensure the privacy of our users, and we recommend that our users do the same.

Individuals may choose from three protection levels.

Private Registry: The registry will be password protected and guests must know the individual password to view the registry.

Public Registry: The registry is not password protected and may be viewed by all visitors to Organized Registry.

Broadcasted Registry: A registrant may elect to make their registry page available to be indexed by search engines.

If an individual chooses to share his or her private information on their registry, we cannot and will not be held responsible for the individual's privacy.

It is our recommendation that users take such self-protections as they feel appropriate. We further suggest that you do not look to the private sector to ensure your privacy since the interests of those in the private sector may not align with yours.

We strongly urge all of our users to support national legislation and international treaties that define and protect the privacy of internet users.
